okay i will give it a shot. This is a serious question as to the fact that i have never had a DSM. Also i have never driven my car.... i bought it while deployed and have been using the upgrade paths and other bits of advice to purchase the following parts and I also understand it will rely alot on the tune. that being said lets pretend it is with a good tune on 92 octane which is "premium" for my area. Here is my list of parts.
1991 eclipse gsx AUTOMATIC.
THESE are ON the car.

My build has taken so long and I was wondering what most of you would think this will take me hp wise.

bottom end: Manley pistons and rods (8.6:1) compression

Head: delta 272 cams, evo 9 springs and retainers, SS valves.

holset H1c AT 20-25psi*******
Fp Race manifold
Evo 3 intake manifold
Punishment racing FMIC
Punishment racing 3" downpipe
Punishment racing tial mv-s recirculating EWG
3" catback (no cat)
FP 4" intake pipe
STOCK 2G MAF

Lmao! They got you bro. But I cant be mean. It's just there are way to many factors for "us" to get a good "Guestamation?!" But i'll tell you this...stock 2g Maf... 450whp might not look to good. but then again...I really dont know.

I wish I was a proven member sometimes but I guess I dont deserve it.

Well the idea of building a 2.3 stroker is kind of getting put on hold at the moment. This is on account of school starting up again and my paycheck taking a nosedive! LOL I also have a good amount parts, and a few GREAT opportunities to get some good parts for cheap.

Here are a few pictures of what I have as of now:

255HP Walbro, Aeromotive FPR, Ebay intercooler, Ebay turbomanifold, Ebay o2 housing, Vibrant dual 3in' muffler, HKS 272/264* cams, FP 4in' intake, 90* intake pipe, 4in' K&N filter. I also have 1g pistons and rods I plan on using. Besides the parts pictured, I plan on getting an Evo.III 16g, 1,000cc+ injectors and ARPs.

Now assuming I put all these together, what kind of power am I looking at? I honestly have never looked into a 16g setup so I have no clue. I figured turning to you guys would be the best way to decide if this is worth making a winter project out of it.

Edit: I forgot to mention I plan on getting a PLX wideband and DSMLink V3.

I would say not in the least. I just am out to ask if anyone else has seen a set-up close to what mine will be. I do not want to waste my time if the gain isn't going to be enough. For the price I actually paid for the cams alone, I could turn around, sell them, and buy a majority of the parts for my 2.3 stroker. I just assume for all of the great deals I have gotten'/can get, I might as well throw something together quick.

As far as the manifold is concerned, I think it will do a better job than a cracked 2g one. Just saying..

Lol, and as far as Rad, I mean Chris goes, we won't get into his hate he has towards me. All/any of the posts he will ever have towards me will be negative and off subject so, oh well.

It is bench racing, because of the title of the thread. If you want to compare set up and ask questions about this build then do so, do not ask how much power/hp I will make with x and x and x items.

It will do better than a cracked 2g, but there are alternatives like the FP manifold thats on sale now. They gave you advice, i would utilize it. Ditch the ebay tubular, they are prone to cracking, and all that weight on a tubular manifold, that's asking for trouble.

Haters will hate, let them hate

As far as answering your question, put the build together and dyno it. There are too many variables to tell you how many horses you are making. How much psi are you running? How is tuning with Link? Fuel octane?

If you have never looked into a 16g I would start by searching the forum for threads on 16g turbo (and there are so "f"ing many).

but if you insist in the end: Official Bench Racing Thread (how fast is my car/how much HP can I expect)

You can't beat a fp manifold for >200$. Hell it even comes with gaskets.

Though if your hurting for cash I would suckers someone into buying that tubular manifold. The flanges aren't true, the bolt holes may need to be drilled out, all the knockoff DNP manifolds are pretty god awful. There is a reason why real manifolds cost 300+ the FP manifold is a HELLUVA deal.

I would also make sure to hone that ebay o2 housing's flanges. They probably aren't true. And if you want to header wrap it you better have the welds touched up. Most of them are fairly prone to cracking.

I figured I would chime in and say, I simply wanted to get a general idea of what I was looking at to make for HP. No where along the line was I "bench racing". I wanted to see if anyone have a close setup that would point me in the right direction. Instead I got a few butt-hurt people to comment assuming I was bench racing.

Moral of the story is; you should really know the intentions of the OP before you jump into "know-it-all" mode. No offence. Making me look stupid won't help me get anywhere, nor yourself. Thank you.

Ok so I finally got enough money to build my motor (6-bolt) the way I want it. It is currently at the machine shop and it should be ready in about 2 weeks +-
The build basically consists of :
Engine:
JE pistons 8.5:1 .020 over
Manley rods
BC 280 cams
Ferrea comp plus valves +1mm
Kiggly behive valvesprings
Fel-pro mls head gasket
Arp L-19's
Arp mains
Kiggly main girdle
FIC Bluemaxx 1550cc injectors
Decked block and head
Port and polished head
5 angle valve job
Pistons and bearings thermal and friction coated
And many more things

Bolt-ons:
PTE dual ball bearing 6262 t3 .82ar v-band
RedJackRacing custom t3 manifold 44mm wasgate
Tial 44mm wastegate MVR
PTT dual disk clutch
Full 3" straight pipe w/magnaflow
Dual intank walbro 255's

This is the stuff I can remember off the top of my head.
I'm curious as to what this motor will be good for and what is realistic on pump 93. I'm hoping 5-600 whp, but that's just what I would like to see as a reliable motor and have room for more when I'm ready. I will update the list when I get out of work complete with pictures. Throw some ideas of what you guys think this setup is good for just for an idea. Thanks guys.

Lets see, your rods are capable of holding at least 700hp.

For the bench racing part, it's all in the tune.

honestly pump gas will be your bottleneck, according to what you posted. even with the large turbo, there seems to typically be a tough barrior at the 500whp mark on 93. If you were to run meth injections, e85, or race gas. I'd say 600+whp would be in your future with a good tune.

I do understand pump gas will be the bottleneck to my power but this is a DD and there is no e85 in jersey. I don't like the idea of nitrous or meth or tuning race gas because I want my highest power levels available as long as there is gas in the tank. I will also be doing a complete built driveline.
