Same here. The black GTR you see in a lot of my pictures is my buddy's car.

[DOUBLEPOST=1408379560][/DOUBLEPOST]Yea my buddy was in the black Alpha 7 that took 2nd in GTR Stock Appearing and 2nd in GTR Max Effort. The more I'm around them the more I fall in love with them LOL. I'm still a DSMer at heart but can't say enough about his car. His car is a 60000 mile stock motor, stock trans, and stock turbos, with just full bolt-ons and E85. He ran a best of 10.18 @137 mph. He beat some fully built motor and trans GTR'S and only lost to a fully built Alpha 9 car.

I lived in Ohio for 28 years, been a dsm'er since 2000, been to countless shootouts. I move to Florida and we got gtr's and tons of evo's showing up. Damn I'm jealous. So many cars now.

A few pics for the weekend. Ran my fastest pass to date with a bunch more room on the table so that looks promising.
Had a great time! It was one for the books. We even ran into Travis Prastrana’s race team at a rest stop in Ohio. They were on their way with his car to some event up north. I got a few comments on my talon by them and they told me that they have heard about the DSM Shootout. So that’s cool!

So ive got to ask, why wasnt the qualifying done on saturday? I thought that fiasco was taken care of a couple years ago...

To have 5 hours of qualifying after a rain delay was a complete failure imo
