That does'nt look like a pump,but more of a breather setup.

??? Take a look at some of my pics, its clearly a fuel pump. The line comes off the pump, into one rail and out into the other and back out.

Who ever that 1 gen blue talon belongs to, that is in JWAHL25's pics is probably one of the cleanest I have seen so far on the everyone's pics of the shootout and around. Anyone know whos that is?

I can see how in that pic it can be mistaken for a breather setup, b/c that's what I originally thought, but I wasn't there to actually look at it anyway either......that engine is sexy as heck though......I am def making it an effort to go next year though...keep them coming...

That blue engine bay is mine. That is me and my best friend and my girlfriend standing in the staging lanes in front of my car(im in the red shirt). My car was totaled in a fire when I bought it so I stripped it down and started from scratch, my only regret is not cutting in under the hood. With flat black it gave me the option of changing my paint job though, which I would like to do before next year. Thanks for the compliment, not many said much about it, I was kind of disapointed. Almost like no front mount, no respect, I need a heatsheild for that manifold too. Next year I will be racing also. Thanks agian for the props.

Trust me it's a mechanical fuel pump. I've talked to Marco about it online and read lengthy discussions on the hows and why's.

Does anyone know when he switched? Last I knew he ran a 10.6 with nitrous on the 14b and I haven't heard/read anything on the car since.

Very nice Hal, very clean. Where do you get the cam gear gear setup, or is it custom made?

He made all the parts himself. If you notice there is daylight under the hood. So that is a positive, that means that he pulled it out of the garage. I know it is recent because it has the GT40 on there. Go Hal. Planning on making any test passes at the next events coming up?

Thanks...pinder91, I really appreecate it. Yup that's definitely the one......As soon as I saw it, I was like... .... But it really is a B-E-A-UTIFUL car though. Much props to Venom55. I love the pics guys/gals...I will for sure be going next year. BTW...did they by chance have the dsm shootout in a different location one year...I heard somewhere about that, but I dont know though? Did anyone notice a few odd things about Shep's underhood this year? I was looking at my pictures last night and realized he has no clutch master cylinder or brake booster under the hood, not to mention his new motor/tranny mounts and the front assembly holding the lights/hood pins on.

Man you should have been looking alot harder. There was alot of custom work done all over,under,and thoughout the entire car. Crazyness.

If everyone just bought a tuners shirt and showed their support, and wore it to the shootout you should know. I met jwahl425 because he had his tuners shirt on. Then we raced heads up shortly afterwards. Cool guy. The nametags arent a bad idea though.

Respect much much appreciated, next year it should be even cleaner, probably still have the sidemount too.

I agree as well we need to get name tags on next year. It would make this board alot more fun to comunicate with each other and meet new friends.
