For sheps car I have a few ideas. Could be way off here but here goes... What is the lever in the picture below for? Is it for the dog box so he can just pull straight back sequentially to shift? Could it be to activate the clutch? for our Formula SAE car we use a lever to activate the clutch but it is cable driven not hydraulic. I first thought maybe he went with a mechanical cable to save weight of the hydraulics and what not but that does not seem to be the case because if you look at the engine bay pics you can see the hydraulic line for the slave cylinder. Finally the other idea I had was perhaps he went with a new racing type master cylinder like something from tilton racing.

Everytime it wants to yank over to the left, on every shift, and he still makes solid fast passes. Treed the snot out of Jason Hunts full tube chassis FWD Cobalt drag car, then proceeded to beat him to the finish nocking off a... Get this... 7.81 sec. E.T. @ 185 mph!!!!!!!!!!! WTF indeed. AWD RUles for ever!

Use "Dial in" next year, it comes off in the rain or with a wet/dry towel but you can always re-apply, shoepolish is too hard to get off. Then you can use it to put your numbers on your car at the track!

It was actually Gardella on that run, he lost to Hunt in the finals. But no matter, incredible either way.

Some people on here have problems with people taking spy shots of their wives/girlfriends. Also read the rules please, theres stuff in there about girly shots, also girls don't like to see themselves on here either. Other then that welcome to the forum and enjoy your stay.

This dump is awesome, I appreciate the creativity. Good way to keep some soot off the bumper also. Can anyone tell me if it is custom, or a vendor item? Didn't see another one like this.

Wow good spot, and good idea with keeping the thread on focus. Not sure but I would guess its a custom piece. Adds a little flare though doesn't it. Although the car reminds me of my old black 1gb, makes me want to cry knowing that the guy who fixed it up sold it then the other guy blew it up. But along those lines, it seems like the side exit exhausts like on Shep's and Darryl Hudson's cars would melt the bumper, are they just sticking out far enough past to be ok or something? Obviously works out fine. My side exit is coming out under the front bumper cover anyways since I can't afford to move my alternator with the relocation kit.
