from my experience: hondas+turbo=shit box fwd no matter how big the set up they hop beyond shit... as for being "pretty" 7-9sec cars is "ohhhh so pretty" just out of the blue i think im going to try and race a girl sometime soon.

WOW I'm so upset that i missed the shoot out looks like it was awesome. I couldn't make it because of a wedding I had to attend. I tried to cancel but the women wouldn't let that happen. Next year I will plan for it tho. Defiantly not missing another big DSM meeting. I didn't really see that many copper eclipses. Dang I should have been there!!!

Yeah seriously, Nick Leto (2nd) Bracket 2 is quite the drag racer. He definately has some time in at Norwalk. Nice work to beat him, I doubt I could have.

That's very off-topic, but consider this. This year Curt Brown switched from a Slowboy 2.1 to a Bushur built block and went 9.3 @ 150+ mph and then drove 4 hours home. He'd never done that before.

Yeah, that looked like some sort of a mechanical fuel pump. I'm not sure why they would have opted for a set-up like that...

Both marco and Hal Landry run mechanical fuel pump setups. More reliable and don't keep running when the engine dies.

They are aeromotive. Not only that they absolutely do not fail. Nor does the motor melt like it did on us when one or more pumps fail. A lot of extra work and not for everyone. Hal's is driven off the exhuast cam. Marco's is bit more of a contraption also driven off the exhuast cam via a belt.
