Thats what I like to see. Paul, Brandy and I wanted to say thanks for the good weekend. It was fun to actually finally party with you with all of the missed opportunities. The same goes for Dale and Dan.

But im realy happy to be the WINNER OF THE 2006 SHOTOUT IN THE ELIMINATOR CLASS

Jonathan Lefebvre
I didn't say anything bad about your car man. One of your friends must of been a little too drunk and tired when he told me you revved to 10k. It was about 4a.m. and your friends were the only people awake when i got there.
As for the intercooler setup, neither I or the people with me had ever seen an intercooler like that before.
Anyways, nice car and congrats on the win!:thumb:
Hope to see you at the shootout next year.

There was a pretty crazy burn out session at the former ponderosa parking lot. Nothing like cars parked against dumpsters due to lack of brakes and burning that rubber. That was Insane. Until some cops arrested two of my friends...LOL
And that damn train horn going off while next to the truck scared the shit out of me.

yea, it is you and your friends that are going to ruin the shootout for everyone. thanks douchebags. stay home next year.

This was my first shoot out as well i had a great time even though i was like 25 miles from where everyone stayed. I have to say i made some great new friends from New York. we stayed at the econo lodge. I didn't see that many people there until we started grilling. i would like to say thank you to shorty for helping me with my car this weekend. as for pics i don't have that many but i do have a lot of video. I will post it up as soon as i figure out how to get it on my computer. I can't wait till next year if there is a next year. Dave,Shorty,Rick, and the rest of you thank you for letting me hang out all weekend long and teaching me a lot. If you read this Dave would you send me that pic of all of us at the track.

Dave doesn't really get onto the forums, but I'll let him know you're looking for that pic!

Im lookin for pics/videos of my 92 tsi AWD. It says krazyturbo in the back window and has foward motion motosports stickers on front and back. It also had smoked tail lights an a spearco FMIC hideing under the front bc.

I saw a few cars running there that had a clean looking ram? air intake in the front of the bumper or hood.

I can imagine there are a million options for running hose/pipe from the bumper to the air box, but is it possible to buy the piece that's on the bumper, or were they all custom deals? Where would I go to look for those and what would they be called?

Here is my favorite picture of the whole shootout>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Thanks alot Larisa glad to see you guys made it home.

Same to you! It was definitely great to meet some new people and make some new friends (Rich and others), as well as meet up with some of the same guys from previous years (MN, WI, and Philly to name a few).

Our trip home was marked by seeing a camper lose it's trailer while getting on the turnpike, then Rick realizing 5 mins onto the turnpike that he forgot his cell phone at the hotel, so losing an hour as we went to the next exit and drove 20 miles back to the Econolodge (where the maids happened to be cleaning our rooms, LOL). Shorty continued to spray oil all over our cars, but otherwise it was uneventful.

Larisa dont let shorty forget about that clutch for me or anything else he might come across that you guys might think i want shorty has my number.

Ditto. I'm glad everyone could make it, and I'm glad we are have fun hanging out together at the BW. Cheers to Shootout 06. :rocks:

See yall at next years.

I tend to steer clear from all the partying bs. We stayed at a cool little hotel right on Lake Erie. Lit a campfire down by the shore, watched the meteor shower (which I'm sure most guys in Norwalk missed) and bullshitted about women and cars til about 3am. That sounds like alot more fun to me than seeing how drunk I can get, but that's just me :D

I saw some shooting stars too, driving back to OH from MI Saturday night... Cool that someone else saw them.
