Thanks to everyone I spent time with at the SO this year -- you guys were really great. Thanks to David Buschur for making it happen. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves.

You live in my neighborhood apparently. I kept hearing "Munroe Falls" and I'm like "who the hell is this person" our city is like 4sq miles, how do I not know this DSMer. Then today my dad tells me he saw your car in the driveway with the numbers still on it. We live on Laurel Blvd. Anyways congrats on winning B2 and PM me if you ever want to meet up or sumn. I drive a black '90TSi AWD and my little sister has a '97 GS-T Spyder


edit* oh and Pube Stache, at the end of the day that guy was just giving all of his stuff away for free. So he probly no longer has what you were looking at. One of my buddies got a bunch of intercooler piping for free.

99GST racer, I was looking through your pics and I noticed something I never noticed before. In your pics it looks like shep is running a solid rear axle now? I don't know my old American muscle but something like a ford 9" or something? The pictures of that are right in with the other pictures of his car so I am guessing it is his. It makes sense just never heard that mentioned with the list of things he has done to his car. Ive seen his car in person, have a stage 1 rebuild by him and have visisted his shop a few times just never noticed it.

I think it was a canadian or two that got arrested at the BW for setting off those fireworks. All I know was that there were fireworks and cops simultaneously so I dont know if they kept shooting them off as they were being arrested, but I wouldn't be suprised if that was the case. The Quebec DSM guys were also kind enough to give everyone a 8amwakup call by hitting thier rev limiter about 30 times sunday morning .

My boost controller flaked out on me in the last two rounds, ended up with only 23 psi instead of 35, so I ended up finishing second. Does anyone happen to have any pics or vids of my car or any of my runs?

Yeah. The last time I was at his shop, he was running a stock rear. I never knew he switched until I climbed under there on Saturday. I'm not sure what it is though. He has Strange coilovers, so I guess it could be an entire Strange floater, but I dont know what size pig it's running. Dan (project_tsi) climbed under there too, and he's probably got some better pics that I got. I'll have him host them on my photobucket account.

I'm about 99% sure it's a Ford 9". looked to me like a Competition Engineering housing and probably a Moser or Strange centersection. Looks identical to the one on my TR6. Pretty sure shep won't be breakings rear diff's anymore.

Here's a few pictures my wife took this weekend. This was, by far, the best Shootout of the past few years; very few problems (at least from the view at the Amerihost), some incredible exhibition passes from John Shepherd and Brent Rau, and an disgusting display of raw horsepower from the Magnus, Buschur, and AMS cars. Lots of new personal bests this year; everyone stepped up their game from last year, and the bar is a lot higher if you're planning on impressing folks at next year's Shootout.

Was that the future Mrs. Mavisky with you? If it was it is good to see her out at the races, that means there is hope for your racing career. The car looked real good this year with the new sponsor stickers. Would have liked to gotten the chance to meet but I was in the stagging lanes when I seen you.
