Kind of a shot in the dark, but does anyone know the guy that was selling parts from the back of his van in this pic?

He said he was from Dayton, Ohio and had a part I wanted but didn't get his number before he left.

A buddy of mine was selling parts out of the back of his van. Its not that van I dont believe, he drives like a tan champagne pontiac van and has blonde hair. Dont know if this is the guy you want but his name is Aaron Ruppert and hes from Dayton.

what were you running? what was your best time man? .

My best was a 12.15 at 113mph but my best mph was 116mph. It was with a 1/4tank 93 and 4 gallons of 110.

I had a great time.. I'm looking forward to running next year! Any person that loves DSM's should go to this event. I drove 1452 miles this weekend to get there and back. I would drive even furthur if i had to.. well worth the trip.

Great pics so far, guys.

I had a blast this year. For the most part, everyone stayed civil, so I'm sure we'll see many more years of the Shootout to come.

Hanging out at Buschurs on Saturday was fun. There was a $hit ton of DSM's and many many well-built EVO's. Congrats to Team Buschur racing for the new World Record for fastest EVO. It's always a cool thing to see a record broken and grown men hugging and dancing in the staging lanes.

It was completely awesome to be hanging over the wall and watching Rau and Shep run. It's cool being so close that you get an instant 2 minute headache when they go by. Congrats to Shep for the new Record and personal best. 7.95 with only one power adder (turbocharger) is simply amazing and I'm glad he could pull it off. It was kinda difficult to see the board from so far away, especially with the blazing sun. I remember everyone around me went nuts thinking he ran a 7.45.

It made 576/52x....I was just wondering if it was a 2.0 or stroker.

From what i understand as the canadians really only spoke french and some broken english. the blue 2g had a 7 bolt 2.4l that they were claiming he revved to 10k. Crazy canadians!
Did anyone see the fmic he had on that thing? It looked like 2 sidemounts welded together. He probably would have made 600+ whp with a real intercooler.
