I am missing the nylon bushings located in the top part of my shifter assembly, the top pivot point that allows the shifter to pull the cables back and forth. my shifter can move freely side to side about a half an inch in either direction, thus causing miss shifts and lots of shifter slop
I ordered what was supposed to be the right kit to correct the problem and ended up with the shifter plate bushing kit. (I must not have been clear enough) ( not what I was looking for)
The only other bushings that I can find any replacements is the shifter linkage bushings/bearings for the cable mounts on the tranny. (not what im looking for)
any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
