Nylon boost hose coming out (Autometer)

The nylon hose that goes into the boost guage, is not held by anything, is there something in particular i need to do to fix this or rig it? Its getting pretty damn annoying.

I didnt clarify...it just slippes out of the back of the guage, if your not holding it tight yourself, then you can hear it leaking.

Did you have the ferrule on the tubing when you tightened the compression fitting down?

yes, but the ferrulle doesnt do anything really, just slides over the tubing

That hose fitting is called a compression fitting and it uses a small brass piece that looks like a bead which slips over the hose. When you tighten the fitting, this bead is crushed and grips/seals the hose.
