Okay heres the story. My father at one time owned an 81 Trans Am last year before someone stole it from his mothers house in river rouge(almost detroit). I had to give him my car, and I got a 1993 Explorer after the money came back. After all that I destroyed the transmission in the Explorer doing some stupid stuff as I had just figured out how to burn out in the Explorer. Got a used trans and now it's getting really bad in shifting and in driving it. Anyways, my friend has a 1991 Eagle Talon I'm paying him $200 for not $2000.. $200 cash. He doesn't know what is wrong with it but says it won't move when it's in gear. He says it's the neutral safety switch, it's an automatic. I don't really know anything about cars besides to change the fluids when required. So does anyone know if this car is worth the $200. It looks almost brand new. I also have to get new tires for the rims. But I really need a car before school starts again. So does anyone have any clue where I can buy a correct replacemnt Neutral Safety Switch or other possible problems it might have? Also, is it worth my $200?
