6 bolt swap into 2g.

Engine fires and seems to be ok. Lifter noise is slowly going away after a fresh rebuild, so that good news. However, it has a rough idle. So I am wondering what is normal for this type of swap because it's twice as rough as my 420a talon.

No tuning, Eprom ecm and missing exhaust yet. Rear o2 is pulling a code as well. Any of this be the possible reason?

Can you get it scanned at a local auto store or shop? See if it's throwing any IAC errors or anything like that? It wold help a lot.

We have a scanner and we just replaced the iac yesterday. Idle did not change. But I am going to try to replace the intake manifold gasket today if I can find one. Not thrilled that my cometic gasket didn't seal. We have tightened everything on the intake but I still have a leak. (My husband did not mention any of this last night) so I'll post if it doesn't fix the issues
