Is anyone currently selling/producing a headlight conversion for the 1ga dsm.

I'm talking about custom projector/hid housings like xtc did for the ford probe .

Id like to find a vender if there is any.

Thanks

here is a picture of my ford probe i sold last month as an example pic.

Yes this is the wrong forum(should be in appearance, oh well) but that doesn't mean you shouldn't get an answer. There are currently no companies making projector style headlights for the 1ga. There are several members on the board, myself included, that have made custom headlamps using projectors from other vehicles. I have a dual setup from an older infinity. Others have used single projectors with no highbeams. Others have used single projectors that have a retractable shield for high/low. Some of them are actually HID housings, others are just halogens(like mine).
All of this is custom and can be a pain.
If you are just looking for better light, there are replacement headlamp assemblies that take h4 bulbs and takes your sealed headlight and makes it 'unsealed' with a removable bulb. Last time I looked, they ran about 40 dollars a set on ebay. Obviously this isn't quite what you are looking for but gives better light and is a much simpler option since you are looking for a bolt in kit.
Goodluck

SharpHid had a group sale on a pair of hella h4 housing, I don't know if its still going on or not. Yes you can also install HID in them and it would be better then the regular bulbs

i want custom housings, not h4's not looking for a better headlight light looking for a better look just like i had on my probe .

out of the 100 times more vendors there are for the dsm then the probe im surprised there isnt a vendor for these, mabey ill do it LOL.

Yea i know, after having projectors on my Mazda 6 i want them on my 90 if i can pull it off, but ill make them myself as no one has even made a set :(

The Idea of retrofitting Hid projector in to the H4 housing had cross my mind but from my measurements the rear hid projector will stick out a bit and i don't know if it will hit anything in the back

Realized today that I don't have a picture of mine on the website. Went to my photobucket and got one:

Here's another from the side

<a href="http://s638.photobucket.com/albums/uu109/themadcheshire/?action=view&amp;current=0602091701-01.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i638.photobucket.com/albums/uu109/themadcheshire/th_0602091701-01.jpg" border="0" alt="Lights!" ></a>

I have planned to form something around them eventually to give a better look but other projects have taken priority and this is how they are today.

just found out my buddie works for a carbon fiber modling outfit. as soon as i can get a prototype made were gonna vaccume form some moldings expect them to look similar to the ones pictured on my ford probe, except they will be made up entirely of carbon fiber.

I expect we will be selling them for around 700 a set for the moldings

once we get them going the price will probably come down some to make a monitory profit. this is not an attempt to sell anything but to let people know that this is a possibility in the near future and not a pipe dream .
