Normal block casting? (thrust bearing)

This part of the block has got me iffy as it seems very thin. I saw some pics of another block but can’t tell if it’s normal. Surface is where the thrust bearing sits.

What are you worried about? Looks normal to me.

The lip where the thrust washer sits. The other side has more meat to sit on. Thank you for your reply.

edit. Towards the bottom center is my concern.

It doesn't need much, just a lip to prevent it from moving. The crank will sandwich it in there so it's not going anywhere. The only thing I would be worried about is if the actual thrust surface was worn into by the crank previously making the whole block junk.

I did check the crank for scoring and saw nothing. I’ve seen several engines and this 4g is the first I see with such a thin casting for the thrust washer. To me it seemed some what incomplete.
