nooo huge problems urgent help ###!!

Alright i really have no idea how all of this occured but here it goes. My car was running fine, then in the morning i had to boost this old pos car with cables. So i do that then when i start the car my SRS light comes on,ebreak light stays on, and check engine stays on. Then i drive for a bit and they all go away at once. So i think nothing of it, keep driving the car, then the srs light comes on again... my rpm and speedo stop working and glitch out a little bit. So i pull over. The car's dead, so i boost it. I start going again and it's shaking really weirdly... popped the hood, checked oil it was perfect, but like my entire block was shaking and black smoke comming out of the exhaust. What the heck is going on here, my car is sitting on some random street right now. By the way the battery in my car is only a month old so im wondering if my alternator is messed or what

The charging issue sounds like it's alternator related. Here's a quick test you can try on the side of the road:

As far as the motor shaking and spewing black smoke, that could either be fuel/spark or the O2 sensor taking a crap. Pull the plugs and wires and replace them and drop a new O2 in it once you get it home unless it was recently replaced. OEM sensors can be found at:

It wouldn't be a bad idea to have your car scanned for codes at a local AutoZone as well if you can get it moving and bring it there as this can save you plenty of money on fixing things that don't solve the problem.

i just have to find a way to get it home, last time i boosted it it was barely driveable and had no power at all. Im wondering if the hot weather had something to do with all of this because it was like a record hot day here
