2 HUGE problems, need help!!

Ok, i have a 1997 gsx.

When i give it WOT into boost, it cuts, and jerks, but still boosts, it sorta throws you back and forth in the seat, real hard jerks. But when i slowly approach WOT, and get to it around 4500, it doesnt seem to do that. I dont know what the problem could be, car doesnt smoke, although it does use ALOT of oil, but it doesnt leak, i checked for it, no leaks at all, i go through 4 quarts in a month. I dont know what it could be?? No smoke,and i dont smell oil burning, im stuck on this one.

Also , whenever i turn the steering wheel, there is a loud scraping and screetching coming from the car outside, i checked the PS fluid, and its fine, no leaks in my lines, could it possibly be the PS pump?? What can i check, and what are some possibilties

check ur intake pipe, my car had a hole in the bottom of it, and the sensor wasnt getting the right signal for how much air was going into the engine when quite a bit was coming in, and when i accelerated hard my car "hopped", gota new pipe=problem solved

I just tightened all the clamps on all the hoses, and check the pipe you were talking about, and there is no holes. I drained what was left of my PS fluid, and filled it with STP PS fluid. it didnt fix the problem. I dont know what to do next. Does anyone have any ideas at all??

I would ask....when was the FUEL FILTER last changed?
Check plugs, wires.

Make up a boost leak tester, pressurize your piping, check for leaks with dish soap and water.

Check your PCV valve on the back of the valve cover.

I don't know about your car but my car came with the BISS screw all the way in till snug and backed out 3/4 turn. If you change yours, make sure to remember how may turns IN, so that you can repeat your setting.

If you boost under 18psi .030" spark plug gap
Over 18 psi .028"

Thats where I would start. Your car runs so thats better than not running.

I put new plugs in 3 weeks ago and the problem stoppd for about 2 days, and came back, so im thinking its my wires. Im picking them up tomarrow, so i should know then.

But what should i do about the creaking coming from my car when i turn the wheel. I know it has to have something to do with the power steering. Is there a fuse for the PS? or does it just run off the pully.
