noob exhaust question

When a brand advertises a muffler as a "turbo" muffler.. what does that signify? such as.. summit racing has a "turbo muffler" is it just a name or is it a specific design/style of muffler??

used to you could at least infer that the turbo muffler could be reversed- you could attach either the inlet or outlet and it wouldn't change things. Now you cannot- don't buy a turbo muffler for a turbo car. Pick up a muffler you can see straight thru- dynomax, magnaflow etc...

Just pick up a muffler with a 2.5" or 3" inlet (depending on you exhaust) it will be fine.
