Hello, I do not know how to open an official complaint process. If guided, I will do so.

I purchased a built transmission from 1bad purple, March 3, 2015.

I paid in split payments of $150 on paypal, protected at that.

Starting last month, he became unresponsive and would not give me an address to pick up the part. As of recently I put forth a paypal claim, but was told by paypal that split payments are not covered. He will not respond to text nor phone calls. Is there a complaint section on this forum that we can at least post bad seller experiences?

I ultimately want the transmission and want to pick it up.

I did. Now he replies with a negative feedback to me, stating that

"Buyer tried to force me to ship a pick up only part. He would pretend he never knew it was a pickup only part. He had every excuse under the sun. I also had to store part for months. Buyer opened PayPal claim, PayPal found in my favor."

He has the time to answer on dsmtuners but not on phone, email, or text message?

I have tried everything I can to be civil with this guy but i just need the part I paid for.

Paypal also did not find in his favor, paypal would not refund me because they do not refund split payments:

This guy has changed his story three times, from the transmission being to heavy, not wanting it to get his car dirty, me able to have it picked up, to not feeling safe to have it picked up, to now just ignoring me.

I actually had issues with him aswell recently selling bad parts/damaged, so your not the only one. All you can do is paypal and leave bad feedback.

There's like 3 rules for buying any car part.
1. Pick up only
2. Cash only
3. Assume its junk, and pay accordingly.

If you break these rules expect to get burnt.

So basically he doesn't have the transmission anymore and won't refund you? If he has the transmission and just refuses to let you pick it up, that's pretty shiesty.


I actually know his full name and his address, but I don't think I'm allowed to give it out in case something happens to him.

He has the transmission. He won't let me pick it up. I paid with split payments because I was hard on cash at the time, that was my fault. He has decided since paypal won't cover the charge, he doesn't have to give it to me. Oh well, I really am just tired of this crap man, my bank is going to protect me and I'll wash my hands with it.

I absolutely have the trans. Just refuse to ship and are tired of the bullshit this guy has fed me. It was stated it was for local pick up only. So now ive been storing the thing in my way, for months. I will be dealling with this accordingly. Cracked dsm I promise you dont know where I live. Point is I sold a trans that i paid well over 1000 + shipping for 300, for local pickup only at that price. Mainly to get it out of the way. Ec17pse grow up. I have you an option to resolve and you did not take it.

To be honest, I just wanted you to call me. I worked hard to pay for the item and was under the perception we could just talk it out like men instead of telling on each other on a forum. This was an amazing deal on the transmission, and when I discovered that I had things in my life keeping me from coming as soon as I wanted, I kindly asked for a refund. I tried as hard as I could to get the transmission out from your space, as you said it was taking up room and a nuisance. If you just try to see it from my end, I just want to get it out of your hands without stressing out ourselves and those around us. I have professionals, good friends and new friends all willing to help bring it to my Florida house. When it comes down to it I want to complete this transaction.
