1G No spark 1G GSX

I have Checked coils so far 13.48 resistance and 13.68. I have not tested transistor, the car sat still for 6+ years I need help finding out what else could keep the car from getting spark please help. Does this motor have a crank sensor I looked all over motor and have not identified it. I have a 4g64 and I’m familiar with the crank sensor only to not find one on this motor. 16 valve DOHC 2000

Does your check engine light turn on for 5 seconds when you turn the ignition on and then turn off?
Does the factory boost gauge move to the 0 until you start cranking the engine or turn the ignition off?
If it doesn't do this then the ECU isn't running and the car isn't going to do anything interesting.

The 4G63T in your GSX has a combined crank and cam sensor (CAS) on the right (relative to the driving position) side of the intake cam.

I just purchased a 1990 tai AWD. I checkey cam angle sensor by jumping a wire from pos terminal to red wire on cam angle sensor . Take #4 plug and wire out of head and ground it good on the intake manifold. Have someone Crank it over while you look for the spark. If it Sparks move to the rear of the car and back probe the pump connection for power at sending unit. If you have power there it could be a corroded ground going to sender or at pump itself. Good luck, I'm trying to start mine tonight after I finish fuel lines

I just bought a 91 eclipse gsx completely original 137,000 miles I have the dealer data sheet from the time of purchase fully loaded with all options. There has not been any modifications to this car I even salvage the fuel pump to working condition after sitting for 5 years. Only paperwork I’ve seen from over the years were basic tune ups and new sets of tires.

Well after doing some research on the no spark condition. I checked my power transistor after taking it out and after doing the 12volt battery test I was not getting any continuity on the required pins. So I replaced the transistor. Went to start and still no spark, checked mpi circuit and fuel pump circuit, when I switched ignition on I was getting battery voltage on 2 pins of the mpi relay. So I decided to check the ecu and yep ….toasted…..

When you koeo the cel ought to illuminate for 5 seconds. You are looking for a red icon that actually says"check engine" lower left of cluster. If that doesn't come on then yes ECU is in need of repair. Send to ecmlink

Yup send it off to ecmlink. By the looks of it the capacitor leaked and caused other damage.

Unfortunately that's the reality of owning a 30 Year old car, everything needs to be touched cleaned repaired, over time electronics lose their fervor and can't flow the current needed to run the car. I've slowly worked out the bugs, some electronics were not working at first, but seem to slowly wake up.
