420A no power to fuel pump

Okay. I have a 95 talon esi. It turns over but will not start. So I checked for power at fuel pump and there is no power. I checked the plugs at where the fuel pump relay and asd relay plug in and there is power to them both.. the fuelu pump rerelay. Plug hasin only onein power sourceto but theI asd relay plug in has two power sources from plug also tried to check resistance of relay and they both read 73 ohms. I have yet to hook power to the relays. Just on a side note. The pcm was recently cha nged. I have ordered replacement relays. Does anyone else have any thoughts that may help my situation.

This might be the best time to hotwire your fuel pump if you havent already done so.

Are you sure you got the right pcm for your car? It has to be from the same year and model. Im pretty sure you have a bad ground. And if you don't have the right pcm you will have to find out what pin on the pcm carries the power to the pump and test it.

Well i will try to hot wire pump. If pump turns on do you think maybe its just the relay not switching it on. This is what i thought. Because when i check the plug coming from pcm it has power. But just from one socket as the asd relay has two sockets with power. With key off. I havent checked while key is in start position. I read some out of the haynes manual stating that if crank sensor or cam sensor is not sending a signal to pcm the pcm shuts power off to the relays causing the fuel pump or ignition system from working. Im thinking this may be the case but there is power to them while key is off. So i dont know. What had happened is when i was turning car over the car started but i held key over to long and starter grinding occured. So i let it cut off but when i went to turn it over again it wouldnt start. Car was just turning over with no fuel pressure or pump noise.??? I recently just purchased the car and the guy said the pcm was recently changed. So i dont know if he got the wrong one or what. I will check for power to relays while car is turning over also and let yall know if it still has power....

This might be the best time to hotwire your fuel pump if you havent already done so.

If his car is like mine you can't hot wire the fuel pump since my n/t has no fuel return line.

So there should be two hoses coming from pump if there is a return line. Right? I believe mine has a return line. Well if I hooked direct power to it. It should at least come on right.even if I don't have a return line

One house is your fuel line and the other is for the evap system I believe. Look at your fuel rail if you have a return line it will come off the other side that feeds in. if you only have one line on the fuel rail then no you dont have one. My fuel pump acts like an air compressor it goes up to a certain psi then shuts off if you hot wire it then its constantly running and you can't have that because you will have too much pressure.

Well I believe its the pcm that is no good. The relays work like they should. I didn't even notice the c.e.l. wasn't coming on. So I checked power to pcm and it has power going to it and all grounds are good. So it has to be pcm. Does anyone know where a good place to get one from. Or could it be something else.
