No overdrive once again

hello

i had my trans rebuilt from a shop about 7 months ago and my overdrive went out. Then i had it rebuilt again a month ago under warranty because overdrive went out again. The mechanic told me a converter went out. After 1 month of having it my overdrive goes out again and i am no longer in warranty. I was thinking about getting the end clutches from ipt but i have no money at the moment and i was wondering if it would be ok to drive it with overdrive off going 45 mph just for 5 days until i get paid? Also is it very common for the overdrive to go out on dsm's?

are you sure it is not just the speed sensor or shift solenoid?

i didnt know those could affect my overdrive... i guess after work ill drop by the trans shop and have them check it out if it is electrical problem.
