No Cat back to Cat

Basically I have an N1 exhaust with downpipe/through pipe - no cat. I want to put a cat back on, get a new down pipe and get a Greddy SP2 exhaust. Do any of you have any good ideas on where I can get a good Cat and down pipe?

Would you be putting the cat back on because of emisions or power?

mainly because of boost creep issues I'm having with the through pipe, plus I'd rather have the Greddy SP2.. just personal preference.

by good cat do you mean one that will reduce emissions well or what? the stock one works best for that. but if you are fighting boost creep, porting will help more than changing out your exhaust.

Not very likely those mods alone are causing a serious boost creep problem. maybe a slight increase (but held steady) in boost? I'd recommend port as well for solution, or changing out your OEM boost modulator/wastegate spring. May be weak/faulty. I sell the GReddy SP2 for 545 SHIPPED, and I have APEX, HKS, RSR, DC Sports, Perrin, Weapon R, and Tsudo downpipes. Let me know bro...

But porting wouldn't totally eliminate it, would it?

I don't think it's an exhaust/porting problem anyway, but there's a decent chance it will eliminate it, mostly if not completely.
