Hi,
any dsm wiring gurus out there that can help me with a wiring harness swap....
I have a 93 tsi awd with abs cruise control etc
My problem the previous owners were total idiots....did a lot of wiring in the engine bay stripped lots of cables and finally shorted out a lot of wires....burned the harness pretty much...
I've been trying to find a same 93 awd to get an exactly alike harness but that seems to be a little impossible because every car I've found has had all types of wiring done to them
Luckily ive found a 1990 gst that's unmolested!
I've got both cars stripped and I an swapping everything from the gst to the awd
My problem now is that my awd has an ABS system and the gst does not
I really don't Wana switch everything to non abs because everything worked perfectly!
And its a lot of trouble!
I have a 60amp fuse located in the battery positive terminal that the non ABS harness does not have wich is a problem!
And now I have an xtra cable to the positive terminal to the 60amp fuse I can't figure out how to rewire
.
The wire exactly on my thumb is the one I need help with
The other one I'm holding with the square lookin connection is for the alternator!
Does anyone know how I can add the 60amp fuse to the non abs harness
