Nicks in cylinder wall

Bought a car mostly disassembled found some nicks in the cylinder wall once I removed the head. Think it’s safe to run or should I strip it down and get it bored out.

The engine is already out from the car and the head is removed, why don't you have it honed or bored in the same time. No need to take a risk.

How long do you want it to run?
I see lots of pits too.

Yea I think I’m just gonna go ahead and have it bored, was kinda hoping it would be ok since the pistons look brand new

If you can feel the blemishes with your fingernail they are too big. I would not in good conscience run it like that. At minimum it would be lower in compression and have blowby issues that would be evident
