New turbo, some smoke again now

Ok, I had my t25 and it was smoking. Long story short, I just put on an Evo III (true MHI). Got it on, went and drove it. I didn't rag on it, but ran it pretty good to make sure everything was ok. I didn't have any trouble and that was 3 days ago. When driving home today I noticed some smoke (bluish) when under boost above like 5 psi. Is there anything besides turbo seals it could be? All stock, except type rs bov, cheapy fmic, and boost gauge. It's on stock WG pressure which is about 10, 12 at wot. The turbo was used, but fresh rebuild when I got it with 0 miles on it. Please help with any ideas.
 
You should do your best to clean out what is behind that plug once you remove it, otherwise the turbo will get filled with all the muck and metal particles that have been laying undisturbed in your front oil galley since 1995.

Can one remove the oil filter housing after this?
Sure, just take it right off. You don't need an oil filter. :rolleyes:
 
I meant the sandwich adapter.
Our cars do not use a sandwich plate to supply the turbo with oil, so removing whatever you're thinking of removing (most likely the oil cooler) would probably be a bad idea.
