I recently did a pressure test on my car and heard this wierd bubbling sound like oil bubbling and made a post about it. I then got a reply that took me to a post about unhooking your licp and pressure testing off there and so on. After doing the tests on that post i came up with the conclusion that i think my turbo seal is going bad. I also did a compression test and got 180 or above across the board. The turbo i have on it right now is a FPBig28 that has been on since march of 05. Im worried why the seal is leaking so soon. I put a boost controller on the car and actually had it hooked up backwards and the turbo saw 25 may 30psi for a few times but only for a sec or two before i backed out of the gas and before i got the boost controller hooked up right. My real question is what kinds of tests can i do to make sure my new 50 trim that i want to buy isn't going to die quickly kind of like the 28 is. I am just hoping that the few times i overboosted it was the reason for the failure and not an engine problem. Thanks!
