Hey guy's. New to Link (and tuning for the most part) but I figured i'd post my initial start-up/idle log to see if there's any suggestions or advice you guys could give me. To the best of my knowledge everything mechanically is as it should be. I did find today that my bov seems to be leaking at idle so that will be addressed shortly. Thanks for taking a look and all information/criticism is welcome.

Your TPS voltage is a little low and it looks like you need to tighten the BISS a little bit.
In the log you never seem to give it any throttle so I can't tell if the TPS and IPS are working.

If your BOV is recirculated leaking at idle still pulls metered air from the MAF. It's only a problem if the BOV is vented.

It's currently vented because the car came with an intake pipe with no provisions for recirculation. And this log was done at like 1 am so no throttle was used due to neignbors. I did check for tps and ips function today. Ips is at 1 and when I hit throttle it goes to - and tps climbs. What's recommend voltage for tps? My day is shot today but I have the next 3 days to get the little things sorted out before I begin tuning.

You bet! :thumb:

if your tps is close you can auto-fine adjust it with dsmlink in the rpms tab with a click of a button. correct me if im wrong please. trying to help!! :thumb:

Wow! Just got home from work and checked my log... 0.47v is way different than 0.63. Definitely on the top of the list for things to fix in the AM if it's not too cold out. Thanks again for pointing that out. I never even thought to check the volts.

ok so I tried adjusting my tps with the car off. maxed out I could only get it to read 0.49v. I did the tps adjust feature and got it to read the 0.63v its supposed to. problems I have now are 1. throttle % doesn't go above 96% and 2. as evident in this log everytime I blip the throttle while running my rpms drop real low and even stalls the car out. I tried adding fuel by adjusting deadtime and really had no affect. I added anything that might have any kind of possible use to my captured values list so all information available is there for your viewing pleasure.

here's another short log with the same problem of stalling when I blip the throttle. I finally got the tps adjusted to where is needs to be with both voltage and %. in this log you will see blips up to 1800 rpm and it stutters but catches itself and stays running. but then theres anything over 2k where it just doesn't have enough to stay running. the idle switch is instantly switching on as soon as I release the throttle so I know its working properly. just something isn't jumping in and catching the idle right. also I'm currently running 2g 450cc injectors. when trying to get the combinedft to hover close to 0% I'm having to go deep into the negative on deadtime. is this right? all information is welcome and very appreciated.

start a new log. don't start the car. once the computer is logging, push the gas pedal to the floor and then release. stop log. right click on the log and hit the TPS ADJUST button. then save the result to the ecu.
start a new log and see if the TPS problem is now solved. if it isn't repeat until you see 0% at idle and 100% at WOT. sometimes the throttle is sticky and the results will change once you start the car, so you might need to do the TPS ADJUST procedure with the car running.

looks like you got the tps much closer. i would still use the adjust feature and try to get it to hit 100% at wot.
if you bov is vented and you are running a stock airbox, that will cause idle stalling. you gotta decide - properly running car or cool noise. if you want blow off, you need to go speed density or gm maf in blow thru mode. there are lots of issues when a stock maf has a bov that is not recirculated.

Tps isn't the issue anymore. It's reading 0.63 volts when off the throttle and 5v when held to the floor. The issue now is that even though my idle appears to be +-50 of what I have it set at... it stalls when I give it a quick snap of the throttle. The rpms shoot up and then the computer fails to catch it as its falling. The log I posted clearly shows that the idle switch shuts off as soon and I hit the gas and comes back on as soon as I release. There's documentation in the log of both running and not running engine scenarios.

I'm trying to locate a recirc intake pipe but to no avail. I don't know about you guys but I don't particularly care to spend $100+ for a used pipe. I'm waiting to hear back from a buddy of mine who might have one laying around.

appears that I have my idle pretty well set. I'm still concerned about the deadtime setting. also, I feel as though maf and mafraw readings are a bit high.
