Montreal,
hi , my english is not very good but I will try to do my best .

I have a new setup :

6 bolt swap (Freshly rebuilt), PTE 680cc , 16G Evo3 , DSM link , FMIC , 2G manifold .

My problem is my EGT goes up to 1600 when I cruise on highway .

my setting in dsmlink is : Global -30% timing 0 everywhere . my base timing is 5 BTDC .

when I stop my car my manifold is red hot .

anyone have any idea ?

Since his question isn't related to the actual DSMLink software itself and is an apparent tuning, we can help.

To start, what are you logging as your LTFT value and what is your STFT when you're cruising?

Did you verify your timing was set at 5* BTDC with a timing light or are you basing this on what you're logging through DSMLink?

Like was mentioned what do you low & mid LTFT's looks like but for starters where is your egt probe located? I have mine about 2 or 3 inches away from the head & my gauge is in deg C but I see somewhere around 1300-1500 F on a highway cruise, which is normal for me. Also have you verified that the gauge is reading accuratly? EGT gauges use a thermocouple to sense the temperature which aren't all that accurate to start with & alot of the EGT gauges available to the automotive market aren't of the best quality either.

Thanks , I have find my problem , I have forget the ground on the timing connector. so my timing stay at 5 BTDC everytime
