hey everyone, I purchased a junked 95 AWD talon exactly a whole year ago for 700 bucks, and decided to rebuild the motor and the transmission, and later had to do major work to the front axles completley. When I bought the car though, the guy had already machined the 2G head whitch I held onto. I found dsmgraveyard actualy machines new 6 bolt blocks to work with 2G heads, so thats what I ended getting. I shipped my transmission to dogbox for a stage 2 rebuild with heavy duty 3+4 gears with a welded center differential and spyder 4 upgrade. I kept the original transfer case and didn't rebuild it because a local transmission shop said it didn't look like it needed to be rebuilt but my transmission deffinatley did.
The intake is the same as stock size pipe but with a better filter than the airbox, the turbo is a 14b from a 1G, connected to aftermarket J-pipe and intercooler piping, with it being a front mount intercooler, stock boost controller and MAF sensor, a basic greddy BOV, following the stock sized intake manifold.
This motor also has a balance shaft delete for more reliability.
Was also wondering if somebody could explain to me how I should go about learning about the dsmlink? I know before I change my stock setup I need to figure out the ecu but I can't figure out where to look for as much as i've been researching
