Took about 2 months but finally got them in. They fit ok but I did had a few issues getting the right mounting brakets and getting them to fit well. All in all not bad for the price.

Yeah I have the same question as the guy above? What is your height and weight? I tried seating in a BRIDE seat once lets just say my hips didnt want to fit at all damn to narrow of a seat. Im 6 foot 220 so yeah.

Very nice for the price, how is the support on the sides? What's your height / weight?

Thanks. I’m 5'10" and 170lbs so I fit fine. The bottom will be a little tight for larger people but the side bolsters are quite wide, I kinda wish they were a little narrower actually. If you were going to buy a set from Cipher I would just email/call them on what they would recommend for your size.

I've had the same exact seats in my 2g for over a year now. I'm 6'2, 210lbs, they're a snug fit but not uncomfortable. My only gripe with them are the height of the seat mounts. The seat brackets are made by Wedge. I only have maybe 3 inch clearance from the top of my head to the headliner.

I've contacted Cipher about this and there's nothing they can do. I haven't attempted to modify the seat brackets yet but will do so in the next month or two.

Which model are those, the CPA1019?

Do you mind taking a couple more pics, one with them in their reg driving position, just taking the picture from a lower angle so I can see top of seat to headliner clearance. And then could you take one with the seat back in the forward position (as if you put it forward for someone to get into the back seat), in the position where its closest to the headliner & take the pic, again, so I can see the seat top to headliner clearance.

I'm interested in a couple of their seats but the ones I'm interested in are taller then most seats & I'm abit worried they won't fit properly. If you could get those pics, it would help me judge fitment alot better.

This is from my car, Pardon the mess.

I just received the single piece, non-adjustable brackets. They don't come with bolts though so I have to go grab some short M8 bolts, as the brackets are tapped for them. I'm tempted to just drill out the tapped holes so I can use nuts and washers though, seems it would be stronger that way.

I really like the offset stitching, wish I got that. I ordered the gray stitching but it looks like the ones I received are black stitching... oh well. I don't care enough to send them back. I'll have photos once I get mine installed. I also like the suede centers... just didn't know how well they'd wear. These look like pretty good cheap seats. Glad they're a supporting vendor.

Yes CPA1019 Black Cloth w/ Suede Insert & Red Outer Stitching Cipher Auto Racing Seats (Sold in Pairs) [CPA1019FSDBK-R] - $399.00 : Cipher Auto!, Automotive Parts Accessories & Universal Racing Seats

Took a few pics, let me know if you need more or better ones.

ViciousLord-I also had to modify my brackets, but mine I had to cut off the bottom two holes as they would not sit any lower as they would hit the main brakets where they slide onto the floor studs. I think in the future I will just weld them onto the support to get maybe 1/4" lower.

This is the closest its gets to the headliner

Take pictures if you modify the brackets, I'm the same height and the only thing I dislike is my head being about 2 inches away from hitting the headliner. Would definitely like to see how much more clearance you get with modifying it.

Red Devil or Ludachris, do either of you know the weight difference between these and say 2g leather seats? I love the look of them, I just wouldn't want to take too big of a hit on weight. Thanks guys.
Edit: Just read this on their site "Our seats typically weight half the amount of stock seats while offering a durable and strong tubular frame."

Well with the frame installed they weight close to a non electric seat. I dont have anything to weigh them with sorry. I would say the difference is maybe 5-10lbs less. While compared to my electric driver seat its more like 20lbs less.

Looks good. It almost looks like the evolution seats. So if its 400 for the seats how much was shipping?

I already did modify the brackets. I did the same as Red Devil and cut off both lower adjustment holes. And I still only have 3 inches of head room. In all honestly I have other things to worry about with this never ending project, I dont even want to deal with it right now LOL

Thanks for the pics, thats exactly what I was looking for. So it looks like you have 6" or maybe abit more from the headliner to the top of the seat in your normal driving position? What about the clearance with the seat basically straight up, where its closest to the headliner, looks like you still have 3-4"?

Believe the seats I was looking at have a back that's ~1.5" taller then these. They have another model I really like but think its back is something like 3" taller & I think that probably going to be too tall.

Thanks Ludachris. I had read in SCC way back in the day that the brackets that they used to install seats, in what I think was their projects s13 240sx, were nearly as heavy as a good racing seat thus negating the weight benefit of a light seat, although the center of gravity was still improved. Similiar link here VWVortex.com - Weight of seat brackets. Ouch!! My biggest fear would be headroom though, as I am 6'7", and slim.
