the mounting looks pretty good. Props to that.

I want to hear about how you modified the bumper to fit the FMIC. Is it small enough to fit under the bumper? also how big is the whole core exactly.

Also the piping seems to be taking a really long route path. Did you ever consider using a j-pipe then routing the intercooler piping through the driverside hole for FMIC?

let us know the results of the installation, that is if you increased the boost.

I like it. I just bought an intercooler 32x12x3 off of ebay it was 78 shipped, and I had a buddy weld me up some exhaust tubing and some regular tubing together. Just looks like yours came out better, haha.

the kit i got off ebay its exactly like this one on xspower DSM INTERCOOLER KIT 1990 - 1994 1ST GEN 4G63, Mitsubishi Intercooler Kits, XS Power Inc.. The recirulator tube is a flex radiator pipe its ugly but it works. I just put 650cc injectors in the car with the front mount I have not gotten to drive it much because my tags are expired its been down for a long time for maintanence. I did go around the block and do a few pulls learning to tune with my safc and pocketlogger and it felt rather nice on 15 pounds. As for the install me and my father did it he helped me with the brackets and i removed the hood latch and installed a aftermarket power steering cooler that attaches to the radiator you can see it in the first pic I also took out my crash been and fog lights i didnt want to hack it up. There was alot of room for the intercooler. It fit really nice and the pipeing is long one day i will shorten it and bead the pipes but i am headed to college at pitt state in kansas for automotive technology this is my 3 year. But for 185 it was a good buy as long as you take your time with the fitment it bolts up rather nicely. I did have to shave just a little on the driver side were the scope is for the bumper to fit soon i will be putting a oil cooler in that location as well.

I also used my punishment racing upper intercooler pipe had to use a reducer cause it was only 2.25 as the kit comes with 2.5 pipeing so i could keep the stock crushed bov and the punishment pipe was beaded.
