So i bought the car and they thought it had a blown tranny but engine purred like a kitten. So i bought it and dropped the tranny out to find it was a blown clutch. The clutch was so ate up it wouldnt even do anything in gear. Now its on the road running. It needs paint bad LOL.

Friend of mine traded a PS3 he found for one, so I would say its above the same level of a deal.

seems like you got a good deal.... worst case scenario.. if you had to you could always part it out and make enough money to buy you a GST/GSX!!! haha!! great buy man

Its our second n/t eclipse but for 275 i couldn't pass it up. I'm looking to get a gsx around tax time next year or ill settle for a gst. It will be my first turbo'd car ever. I thought about turboing the 420a but its gonna cost just as much as a gst or gsx. So figured drop a cold air intake, and a header back exhaust and call it a day. lowering springs and rims later to get rid of the gap. Also paint thinking of semi gloss black (hot rod black).

If you want a want hot rod block, I would suggest plastidip, cheap as crap and more forgiving than regular paint, requires less prep work too.

You beat me by $25 LOL. But all I had to replace was the alt fuse. But if all you've had to replace is the clutch, you've done good. If I were you, I'd go over it with a fine toothed comb and just make sure everything is as it should be. :)

good deal...i scored a deal like that also...only mine was $500 and MINT.LOL...hope to see some progress with it soon.

Nice job. Great deal on that. I had a n/t go over 225k miles w no problems. They are very dependable if you dont beat on them. Drive it like a grandma would and itll last forever.
