New Ebay o2 housing? Not v-band

Not sure if anyone has come across these yet. I searched and a lot of people were talking about the o2 housing they have been making for the past few years, with the v-band instead of 2 bolt downpipe flange and flex piece on the waste gate pipe.

A few people mentioned if they made them with a standard 2 bolt flange they would sell more. Well, here they are. Not promoting this product, just putting it out there since some were wishing they made them like this.

I don't have that one, but I did get one off eBay with my downpipe. The flanges were so warped on the o2 housing that it would be completely useless to put on without about an hour or so of machining. By that point, it would be about the same price as a more quality piece. The downpipe flanges were also very warped, so that it blew out several gaskets on the car. I went at it with a belt sander for about 1-2 hours and put two gaskets on with a load of copper spray and finally got it to seal.

Moral, I probably would have spent the same amount on a nice dp and o2 housing from a quality vendor as I did for the "cheap" ebay ones.

Agreed, I am half tempted to try it out for fitment, but my punishment o2 housing will do just fine.

Looks good, only problem ive came across on these is the downpipe flange, some line up some don't. looks like its worth a shot though

Looks like the o2 sensor will hit the water pipe, just like other cheap o2 housing ...

Id also be worried about the fitment of the wastegate, if it lines up properly and if it would actually seal..
