What time are you going to be at Byron Sunday? I can only stay till noon but if I could see your car make a pass it would definitely be worth it! Congrats again The 1.60 I pulled in the 9.59 pass was weak. If I can get it in the 1.4s my car will go 9.2s-9.3s for sure. My car used to pull 1.4 60ft with a locked center diff but t-cases kept poppin. I went to a 4 spider and it seems to keep the car together. Ive got more boost and more traction on the way. CB car is sick but I would love to give him a run for his money, and for the record I am a Curt Brown fan.

I have a question for you. My current setup drivetrain wise is a Shep Stg 4 with all the options WELDED CDIFF. 5000 mile brand new Transfercase. Stock lsd rear end and DS. I have NO dss driveshaft, NO upgraded axles.
I'm currently cutting 1.65-1.68 60fts with the act 2900 and Kevlar Southbend disk, on nitto 555R drags... All your talk about popping T-cases is scary to me... Couple weekends ago I did 11.06 @130.5 @ 19psi. This weekend I'm taking her up to my target boost of 37psi. If you had the choice to replace one thing which one would you do. A driveshaft or axles or tcase? I have never broken anything (*knocks on wood) yet im still on 155K mile stock rear axles and my weight is 3250 with me in it...
All of my observations of people breaking things was that they all were launching very high, and using Twin disk clutches that grab like crazy. I'm thinking my Kevlar sprung disk is what has been saving me? Any feed back on this?
wtf 11.0 on only 19psi. wow

I'm running a stage III with Stage III axles on all 4. DDS aluminum DS with a shep built t-case. I would like to get a stage 4 tranny but I think the III works well. I imagine you've upgraded your shifter bushings and short throw as well; if you haven't, man what a difference.
I'm looking to run the PTT twin disc and flywheel setup. What to you think of the clutchmasters? I haven't purchased a clutch yet, so I'm trying to get some feedback.
shep stage 3 should be fine. Whats important is the double 3-4 syn, so you can shift fast at high revs.
The PTT is like the quarter master, uses the same flywheel, floaters, and pressure plate. The quarter master or the ptt would be a great choice. I have no experience with the CM clutch, by the looks of it I would stay away. It retain the stock clutch size, and therefore alot of weight. The PTT and QM clutchs uses a much smaller then stock clutch diameter (7.25") so alot of rotating mass is removed If you really want a nice clutch the best clutch by far is a Tilton.
