I own a 1995 talon tsi awd and last week the clutch started to slip in every gear, it will pull out in first then the rpms would rev but the car would not move. I replaced the clutch and got the flywheel resurfaced and its still doing the same thing. I tried bleeding the system, the slave and master cylinder both look good. What else could cause this problem? Thanks

or improperly adjusted master cylinder, check that before you rip the trans off again.

How old is the clutch? Do you pound on the clutch pedal? Check your fluid levels and make sure your clutch master is correctly set check youtube for Jacks Transmission video on how to propley adjust master cylinder as this is a good reference when going to fix what ever problem it is your having.

WOW we think alike at the same part of the day... Thats strange bro

I just put a brand new clutch in thinking the clutch was shot but its still does not go, I checked out the video on youtube on how to adjust the master cylinder and will try adjusting the master again and replacing the slave cylinder and see what happens.

Yes that is odd, good though :thumb: Bleed bleed and bleed again, is the slave or master cylinder leaking? They dont always leak when bad, but most of the time they do, I would just replace the pivot ball, Fork and TOB if you take the trans off again, I always thought shimming is also a last resort? The parts are so cheap you should try replacing before shimming.
