New Clutch Slipping

I just finished installing my Fidanza 3.2 clutch kit, and lightweight flywheel. Im about 100 miles into the break-in process, and was reading the instructions where it says on the second test drive you should check for clutch slippage while going up a hill and fully depressing the accelerator. I did this and found the clutch slipping pretty bad. Should i be concerned or is this normal while the clutch is still being broken in?

you may have preload on your clutch did you adjust the pivot point

have you tried adusting the clutch pedal this will adjust where it engages and disengages there is a vfaq or tutorial around here somewhere if you are not familiar with this and did you bleed the clutch

Not sure what you mean, i adjusted the rod behind the clutch, is that it? what should i do?

and to answer your question a clutch should never slip unless you are riding it a clutch works best during break in.

what rod do you mean the one on the inside of the car up top of the clutch pedal?

when you installed the clutch did you put washers behind the ball inside the tranny where the slave cylinder hits i can explain it better

yes the one inside the car. i adjusted it to where it is now. i Also noticed that the pedal stops before it actually touches the ground. Which way do i rotate the rod now?

get someone to look at the rod on the slave cylinder while you press the clutch it is possible that it is going to far
