Sup peoples. Just had a new clutch installed for the car. Drove it for about 5 miles, clutch went out, had to get it towed. Today i started up the car it drove it fine for about 10 miles. On my way home it started slipping bad. Before my shifts were about 1500-2000, i haven't pushed the car at all. Is this normal? or did my mechanic did a shitty job? Thanks :)

Sounds like it needs to be bled. Our slave cylinders can be stubborn, bleed the piss out of it and see if it improves.

Air in the line won't make the clutch slip. It will cause just the opposite, it will make the clutch not disengage properly. This sounds more like the pedal pump or a incorrect step on the flywheel.

I've had partial engagement/disengagement burn up clutches before due to air in the lines. But you're right it could just as easily be a poorly cut flywheel. I was just starting with the easiest and least invasive thing that I've experienced.

Im having the same slipping problem. I have an ACT 2900 on a stock flywheel for about 4k. I swapped shells and now it slips. I even put a stock clutch in and nothing changed. im lost on what to try next. shifts fine. and slave is returning all the way. And it worked just fine till i swapped shells...

2GRussia, When you say clutch, do you mean clutch kit or just the clutch? Maybe your pressure plate have given up.

Street Faze, Sounds like your pedal adjustment need sorting out.
