Yeah I noticed that after I got it all posted up. One is a cut bumper, other is a clean bumper.

It don't matter if you do the hd lip or buy an expensive lip they don't do nothing they are just for looks. What you want for performance is a wind splitter and if you do get one the idea is to strengthen the splitter to prevent it from flexing. If you attach it to the plastic bumper, which is probably more flexible than the splitter, it doesn't help. If you attach the supports to something rigid, say, the core support, or basically anything metal, it helps the splitter maintain its shape and effectiveness. Nice car too man.

I NEED those rims in my life... wish I couldve found a GSX under 4grand. Anyways, its clean; loving the red and the idea of the lip.. Just please dont hit any potholes, theyre everywhere here.

EDM95 most people that install lips do it for aesthetic reasons or to keep from scraping their bumper on speed bumps/pot holes etc. A splitter is an entirely different thing. It looks similar but has actual functionality.

Man i guess ill have to find a pic with a better view of the rims , they seem to be the highlight of my car! Ill post some tomorrow sometime, i have tons im just too tired to resize them cause theyre all high res..

I live in a state consistently voted amongst the worst roads in the country, stop slamming your cars like idiots and get a proper drop of 1.3 to 1.5 inches and it will be fine. The HDR lip does not look fine, it looks like a cheap piece of junk that a ricer put on their car.

Sounds like you couldn't get yours on quite right or that you've not seen a good example(Z look at all those cheap-ass car's and their fugly lips back on page one). Besides, the secret weapon is plastidipping the HDR lip. Fix any abrasion instantly.

We're getting a little off track here with the HDR lip debate. Perhaps, H4G64T, you'd like to start a new thread describing in detail why it is so criminal to mess around with a repairable and replaceable lip?
