New Paint

My talon is currently red and black.... I't needs some minor body work and new paint. I got an estimate yesterday for about 1,800 to fix 2 major dents and get new pain on the FIXED areas only. The guy said the paint everywhere else was in good condition and he would do some kinda paint repair thingy... I dont remember too clearly, but he said all the paint would match and look great. There is only 1 thing I am debating, he said I should get the mirrors and wing painted red, originaly they were black... He said having the mirrors red would make it look like a newer car, and the wing red would give it a ferrari type look...

Also... I'm doing a front conversion and got the newer eclipse bumper and headlights, they will do the install... My only concern is I was told that the Halo light in the new headlights has to be wired a certin way and some soldering needs to be done.

Lastly.. Rims... I'm goin black for sure, maybe with a chrome inside lip.. 17's, low pro... just debating what style to get. Thanks for your time guys.

ok, so wat are you asking? if you should get the spoiler and mirrors painted? pics would help also...even shitty cam phone pics...

just wanted incite from people concerning rims and mainly getting the red mirrors and wing.. no pics available right now.

Keep the mirrors black. they are above the red paint line on the car... it would look weird with red that high. Black with silver lip rims are sweet... but man! Everyone is getting them! $1800... you better have some BIG dents. Price around... my experience, most bosy shops overcharge. If your going to do a front bumper swap, just wait and get the entire car painted. Its easier than blending the paint... so it probably won't cost you much more.
