I have heard both so I was wondering when you have fresh paint on your car is it dull untill you can wax it or is it shiny right off? TIA! sorry for my ignorance.

When you get a fresh coat of paint on your car, it will definately shine. After new paint, you don't even want to think about waxing for a month or two (to let the paint completely settle in).
