Just traded off my 1g fwd turbo today for a 96 Talon TSI AWD. My 1g was built and pretty damn quick, low 13's on street tires and 12's on slicks. But anyway, do you guys think it was a good deal. The 2g is near perfect shape, current motor, the guy didnt kno what was wrong with it, it doenst run, the battery is dead right now so im goin to work on it tomm and see if i can get it to fire up. I picked up a rebuilt 7 bolt to go with it in case the current motor really is blown. I'll have pics up tomm, i drove a 1g awd along time ago so if the 2g is anything like it i'll be very glad i ditched the fwd scene. :talon:

Im sure you'll be very pleased with the AWD. I know i am after i got my 1g awd from my gs-t. I can't give you an accurate answer on if it was a fair deal though because i dont know how much work/money you put into the 1g or your mod list. I guess you'll have to figure out how money you could have gotten for your 1g, then consider how much you think the 2g is worth. Anyways...im sure you'll love this car. Please post some pics!
P.S how many miles does it have on it?

depending on the exactly what mods you gave away - and the shape of the FWD -
I think it may be a ok trade when you figure just a AWD shell is worth $1500 or so.

Well this car came with a built engine with it, besides the oen thats in the car, it also has zero miles on it.
