I got a new block for my gsx am I able to reuse the oil pump that was on the motor that has a hole in the block? Or do I HAVE to get a new one I heard there extremely pricey and would like to save wherever I can but if it could cause issues i don't want to risk it

If you end up replacing it, and are on a budget, topline makes an oil pump for our cars. I bought one for my 1g, it was just a Hyundai pump with the casted logo shaved off. It's only $150 for the whole thing. Where as buying a Mitsu one you have to buy the case, then gears, and the belt sprocket which ends up costing around $300.

My balance shaft broke and put a hole in the block at idle that's all that happened to the car that's why I'm thinking I may be able to reuse it.. And another thing, I've been working at this fing valve cover for an hour and it literally wil not come off all the bolts are out and it's tight as hell I've takin countless numbers of these off and this one absolutely will NOT come off I'm getting pissed and I'm about to break it off LOL
