Hey, I just got this today, got the one side installed for now. 13" Ap rotors plus 4 piston calipers.. can't wait to try it out. The whole set-up weighs 1lb lighter then OEM..

I purchased the brakes from KVR Performance in OTTAWA..awsome people to deal with. :thumb:

Like I've said before, I -love- seeing porn first thing when I get in to the office in the AM.

Those rock....... :rocks:

As it stands now, I've got a '92 GS DOHC that has the DSM "big-brake" upgrade, which I'm planning to swap over into my '95 TSi.

This post makes me want to just say "friggin' forget it," and upgrade to these outright (despite the fact that the wifey will kill me OMG ).

Now, Canadian TSi, I took a look at your profile, and you list Koni wheels - but not what size.

I'm riding on some 17s (with a 2" drop - actually, your car and my '95 TSi could be blood-brothers, as I've got the 2Gb  Eclipse front-end as well). Will these fit 17 inch wheels?

Very very nice.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did these run you?

Also do they have dust shields/grime blockers so they would be suitable for more mileage than a track only car?

The AP rotors weigh the same as the stock rotors. the calipers are 1.4lb lighter then stock..the brakes were 2350 USD..yes the caliper does have dust shields

You mean the 2 pieces rotors weight about 10.8lbs ?

How much just for the rotors ?
Mine are exactly 20.8lbs, incredible...

paul s,

Are you running 18" wheels, or 17s?

Would like to know if an upgrade to 18s are a must for this mod, or if my 17x7s will do.

Thanks. :)
