Ok so i got a 6 bolt 2g that runs like crap. It barely starts and wont idle or run smooth. I am running dsm link now but the car was the same with the stock ecu. I cant access link right now because i dont have a laptop but the settings are already there for my setup from the last owner. I have checked the follwing.
timing
Cam sensor is good and not 180 out
Replace ect sensor
Used another known working maf
Check that all injectors are firing.
Used another coil pack
Different plugs n wires
Checked compression

Any advice on what to check next would be great. Thanks.

check the firing order of the sparkplugs.

My advice would be to find a laptop and see what is going on! It could of been running like crap with the last owner. Their is alot of things that can cause it to run shitty, like boost leaks, maf not pluged in, timing, ect another thing is check to see if the spark plug wires are the right way!

O yeah forgot to say that i checked both firing order. Stock way and the order with a inverted cas. Timing is spot on and i personally took the parts out of a decently running car. The car sounds like a big block with a ridiculous cam.

Have you tried to see if a cylinder is missing by pulling plug or injector wires one at a time? How about checking spark plugs to see if they're dry or soaked and if they all look the same?

Its running so rough i wouldnt be able to do this without the car stalling. Plus its really hard to keep it idle without giving it some gas. I am gonna check my cas wiring to make sure there isnt any cuts. And i am getting 40 psi fuel pressure around 1500 rpm

ok so i got the car hooked up with to ecmlink and made a log. also I had my trigger wires switch for when i was running a 6 bolt with a stock ecu. now That I have link should I check or uncheck the non 95-96 cas option? or just re-wire the trigger wires back to stock. I already have the inverted spark plug order set.

Ok so today after awhile of messing around i got the car to idle around 1k. I was getting 13-14 in.hg of vac. And i pushed the cas downWard and i got a more steady 17-18 in.hg but i heard pinging so i backed off. This is with the maf unplugged. When i plug it back in it has no effect. Also the coolant in my water neck was consantly going up and down.( not a good sign) i got a video that i will post when i get home.

I had a similar problem that i just figured out today it ended up to be vacuum leaks every where all the lines had cracked or had holes also my greddy bov was leaking and had a crack in the side the size of a pin. do you have any cels?

new update. The motor started knocking so I pulled it out and got another running block and head. The car is still running the same way. gets about 15 in. of vac at 1k rpm with timing at 10 degrees and 43 psi fuel pressure. Timing is good, compression is ok, firing order is right, cas is not 180 out and I have changed everything except for the intake manifold (new gasket). I sprayed brake fluid around any possible leaks and nothing. This same turbo and fuel setup I have was running fine in another car with the same ecu so It shouldn't be a tunning problem. I am completely lost. I am getting ready to send the car to my mechanic or better yet craigslist.

ok here is some new logs I made while messing around with the car idling. I cant get it to idle steady without running high timing.

ok I realized that my logs didnt show the estimated afr. Its boucing around from 18-23:1. Sounds very lean but my plugs get black really quickly and you can smell lots of fuel with the car running. I dont have my wideband installed yet so I can't confim this estimate.

update. I zeroed out the maf compensation and got the car running better. But the idle is still choppy and timing is boucing around too much. here is a new log.
