Hey all, still stuck here in the noob forum :( Well here is my situation, I recently put a 6 bolt into my 1g (orig 7bolt), motor has comp cams (unsure of lift, currently looking up the numbers so should know by the time anyone replies) and 2g pistons. I dont have link and everything else is stock, minus a 2.5 exhaust. I have not had a chance to mess with the timing yet and I think that may be part of my problem, just want everyone's opinions. It will run if I feather the gas to keep it going but if I give it to much it revs to roughly 3500. When I first start it it will rev to 3500 ish then fall and die. Thanks in advance!

No CELS maf was in working order right before timing belt blew. Going to attempt to make a boost leak tester tonight, and install new injector o rings. I assume I have fuel pressure as it smells almost rich and will rev up if i give it gas.

I second the boost leak test. That's the first thing i would do before trying to go any further with diagnosing what's wrong.
