Hi, I haven't been able to get my car to idle right ever since I've had the car LOL . I changed the whole engine to a 6 bolt 1g, got the car running right got rid of all boost leaks recently just changed the tb to a 1g tb with new shaft seals and new gaskets . I did also a terra clean to clean out the injectors and all the crap in the fuel system. You can look at my mods in my profile its up to date.

The car doesn't run to bad, I just can't get the idle stable its not surging but it jumps around too much and fuel flow too , plus there an arcing sound. thought the spark plugs and spark plug wires are new. Also the o2 sensor is brand new as well. I'm posting a log hopefully someone can enlighten me because I'm out of Ideas.THanks

You sure you not pulling in air Pre turbo post maf? that's a pretty low airflow signal and a lot Maf Comp to get it in line. Your maf isn't hacked is it?... . Also you should be logging quite a few more things Fuel trims, Iscpostion Wideband? Battery ect... .

uhm I did a smoke test and pretty sure I got rid of all vacuum leaks . What do you mean by hacked maf ?

I have the same idle and arcing issues since switching out my engine.

Haven't really been able to figure out the idle issue, but my arcing issue was actually the PCV valve. It was a combination of being old and my vacuum being so low due to the BC280 cams. May want to check that out. For the longest time I went through everything electrical in the area and it just turned out to be a $3 piece.

Smoke test? Pretty sure?

You need to do a boost leak test to at least 5 psi over the amount of boost you run, and then you'll know for sure if you have them fixed.

Bah, I always do my boost leak tests at 40 or 50psi. You will then find ALL your leaks.

It wasn't arcing at all. It just somehow really sounded like it was arcing. I guess the spring was worn out and with the low vacuum the ball was jumping with the engine rotations. As soon as I would touch the throttle it would stop.

Agreed, that mafcomp at 57% is out of control. Like my1G said, air leak post maf sounds possible. Hell, i cant give too much advice, im fighting idle myself. Ever since the cams, turbo, and fmic things are tough to get dialed in.
