Well let's see. I am currently building my
Talon and I am undecided on suspension. I was looking at the Megan racing and ksport coil overs. I do not care about how the car rides. I just want a good suspension. I am going to set it up for drag racing. If you wanna know what I have done to the car so far here is the
Build thread http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/dsm-build-journals/453415-2g-build.html

If you don't think either of those companies are
Good I am open to suggestions

TEIN. I have the Flex coilovers with EDFC for street/track. The good thing about tein is that they can build you a set of coilovers with custom spring rates so you can set it up for drag, for the same price. The two you listed are good coilovers but they arent really set up for drag.

Do you know How often you have to get the tein coilovers rebuilt?

You lost me here. The two coilovers mentioned are nearly identical, low end units, save for flashy coloring.

Lol that's because I don't know what's good suspension and what's not haha. Sorry.

If it's just for drag and DD duty, you want a bit of a drop, and the actual performance is not an issue other than being able to stiffen/soften...they'll do the job.

The car is not a DD. it might get driven 4-6 times a month during the summer. Maybe.

Snowborder. I found that thread Before posting but there isn't any info on coilovers yet. So it didnt really
Help me to much.

I have had the K-sport's on mine for a few years now, and I love them! They have a nice firm ride, but not bouncy at all! They have 36 way adjustments for the damping, and one thing I like about them, is that the body is threaded and allows the bottom of the strut to be adjusted. This means that when you lower the car, you don't loose the suspension travel like with others. They have held up fine to the abuse that I put them through, and were fairly priced. The only down side, is that there are no adjustable camber plates on the set for 2G's :(, so you will need to get a camber adjustment kit when you put them on.
