I'm having a problem with my car recently after putting some bc 272/272 cams on my car I have a few mods in it
EVO 560cc fuel injectors
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Fuel lab fpr set at 43
Intercooler
Tb cable is new just installed one from extremepsi non cruise
Apexi safc II
3in exhaust
Hbc manual boost control
Small 16g turbo from gallant
Everything else is just maitnance new belts hoses water pump alternator main bearings rod bearings piston rings oil pump thermostat and more
And well basic stuff pretty much the problem in my car is that at idle its running rich as the gauge says 22.4 or so and kinda back fires once in a while but driving it with just
Pushing the petal to a sertain point it runs nice at 17.1 but going beyond a certain point on the gas pedal not flooring it it drops to 9.0 or so and starts to spudder I've checked for vacuum leak and found none and also checked for boost leaks and found none also checked timing and all marks are to point i don't know what else to check for or do one of my friends did say to install a 1g cas because I can adjust it since I have the 2g cas I don't know if that would make a difference or not or can someone give me a clue on what to check because I'm lost and I don't know where to check anymore haha and maybe someone has had the same problem as I am right now.

22.4 is lean not rich, with pressing the throttle you get 17.1 which is still lean.
What gauge are you using for a/f ratio?

That is uber lean. Does it backfire when decelerating? That's a symptom of an exhaust leak. Fresh air makes its way into the high temp exhaust gases and BOOM.

Ahhhh shoot my bad I'm way off right now :banghead: I have the innovate motor sports mtx gauge got it a few months ago when my aem wide band went out. I did calibrate the gauge it is working like its suppose to. I did fix one exhaust leak I had and did run a bit better but ill look more into it to see if I can find another one. Also I forgot to mention my vacuum reading is at around 5-3 after installing the cams before it used to read around 18-15 wich is why I did a vacuum test at first but don't find anything I do have a egr delete and cooling line delete for the tb and some vacuum lines deleted on the tb but those where done way before installing cams

I don't have any experience with deleting emissions as I have all mine and I do not know how it would affect your vacuum at idle.
As far as exhaust leaks, I would make sure you get them all because it will affect your a/f readings.
I like to use seafoam to track them down.

Cams do affect vacuum at idle, what's your idle at?
