Need help with tuning with evoscan

I have just downloaded evoscan and now i want to start tuning with it. So here the problem that i have now, i dont know what to do with it. If anybody knows what to do and how to doit please help. Thanks

Sounds like you need to do some serious research. Do you have an openport 2.0 cable?

You don't tune with evoscan. It's just a tool for logging your car

That's not the right cable. He needs the 2.0 not 1.3.

How about some understanding of basic engine and EFI concepts. If you don't know how to tune in general, you best suggest some reading the help him learn that first.

At least by telling him to stick to evoscan he can just log his car, not blow it to kingdom come.

Thanks for the advice I am on dialysis so i have lots of time to read and figure out how to dothis right. I dont want to just get a few tips on something and tune it without realy knowing what i am doing. So my best bet is to start reading and realy rying to understand everything first, thanks again
