need help on clutch

i have a 90 gsx that is stick. the only question i have is the clutch is really stiff and a pain to push to the floor. is there any way that i can get the tension to be lighter or make it easier to push in?

Does it have an aftermarket clutch? Either way, I dont think that there is a way to adjust how heavy it is.

Is it a stock clutch and pressure plate or aftermarket?

The clutch disk has nothing to do with how hard the pedal pressure is. The pressure plate is what you are pushing against and what gives you that feeling. If your car has an aftermarket clutch then it will probably be harder to push. It depends on what PP they used but for the most part the only really hard PP is the 2600 from ACT. If that is what is in your car then switch to a 2100 or a CenterForce unit. If it is stock or a different PP then I would have to say quit being a pansy and hit the gym.
